Whew, I'm actually glad to see Monday roll around...
Survived the weekend, had lots of fun, sold a few things and got some orders.
Old Fence & Lilacs
just a pretty picture I took this weekend
Maygan enjoying a horseback ride on Saturday
My setup....
Yesterday I mowed and worked at my MIL's, crafted a bit and then enjoyed the evening outdoors.
Make your own Rustic Grilled Pizza for dinner last night, yummo...
Homemade Pizza Dough Recipe I use
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 C warm water
3/4 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 C milk
3/4 Tbsp. Salt
1/2 C Oil
4 C Flour
Mix first 3 ingredients, let yeast get foamy. Add remaining ingredients, turn out onto floured surface and knead for 5-10 min. Spread on pizza pan and let rise. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min. Add toppings and bake additional 15 minutes at 400 degrees.
**Note**.... for grilled pizza, I let the dough rise in the bowl after kneading for about 15 min. I then shaped the dough into thin crust personal size pizzas on a cookie sheet, added the toppings and put the pan on the grill for about 5 min. After 5 minutes the pizza can be easily transferred to the grill rack for the remainder of cooking time. It took an additional 10-15 minutes to completely bake. Grill set at low heat.

Another busy week on the horizon, I will be taking some handmades to the Bazaar downtown, working on swap goodies, and orders. My brother, sil and nephew will be arriving from VA tomorrow, my niece from NYC and another niece from FL will also be coming in this week. On Sunday we are having a memorial service for my Mom.
There's never a dull moment around here!
Have a Blessed Week,
Traci

ReplyDeleteAh hon, what a productive weekend with fun to boot. I rode horses when I was a teenager and always had a great time. Smelled like them afterwards, 'cause I rode bareback, but still loved the freedom I felt while riding.
