Happy Fall Ya'll

It doesn't feel much like Fall here this week, temps in the upper 80's but it's official in my book. The PA kids went back to school today. Maygan started to finally get excited just last week, until then she wasn't ready to go back, her first day as a Second Grader was great.

So with no one here to hollar..... Mom--where are you.....Mom----can I have something to eat.....Mom---can we go do something....Mom---can you get me a drink..(not that I don't love every one of those Moms)...I got to spend the day in the sewing room and finished up some New Prims for my Website today. I just got done listing them, it's seems like it's been forever since I did any crafting.

Hopefully, now that we are back on a schedule, I'll be able to post more here on my blog and also do some reading of your blogs over my morning coffee.

Summer's Drawing to a Close

Where has the Summer Gone? Boy, it seems like school just let out for the summer and now it's about to resume.
I took some time off recently and enjoyed every minute of it. I guess the only highlight of the last few weeks is spending 10 days at the County Fair. We got to see many of our friends and family that also camp there, as well as the Music Events, Truck/Tractor Pulls, Rides, Animals and of course Fair Food! Here are a few pics of our week.

Maygan and I entered some of our crafts and baking in for judging. Maygan won a First, 3 Seconds and a Fourth. She dressed up a Cucumber as a Kangaroo, made Cookies and Muffins and 2 Flower Arrangements.

Now, we have got to get the school shopping done, haven't even started yet and school starts Aug. 31st. I hope then that I can get back to the sewing machine and making prims.

Friday At Last....

Hi All! It's been awhile since I posted last. I am still waiting on posting pictures of Kerri's Prizes. She has been away and not able to open her package yet. I'll post them on Monday for all to see.

Last weekend we had hubby's Family Reunion and I think I'm still trying to catch up from the week of preperation and running for supplies. We all had a nice time and enjoyed catching up with those we don't see often.

This week, just been working around the house. Yesterday, Maygan and I went to Chapman's Dam for the day, she love the water and is happier than a duck when she's swimming. We finally got some much needed rain this morning, not a whole lot but every little bit helps.

I think this is one of the first weekends off in a while and we will be spending time working on the camper roof (we need to reseal it), getting it ready for a week at the County Fair.

I'm hoping to get back to the sewing room next week, I think I need a little push, haven't had much of the crafting bug for a week or two. I also have some new wood pieces that I'll be finishing up, they need waxed/rubbed then they'll be done.
