This is all we have bloomin' right now, but so pretty..

The weather this weekend was just gorgeous, we spent every minute we could outside.  A very productive 2 days, I had a feeling of accomplishment by sundown yesterday.

Sometime Sunday, I lost my dog?  Well, not really, but 1/2 of him..

Maygan did some outdoor Easter decorating ...

And, we painted our toes...

We are both Flip Flop girls and after the temps yesterday, we know it won't be long before we will be into them....had to get our toes ready!

Our toes, that's not all the painting Maygan & I did yesterday...  I was going to share a pic this morning of my project but decided to wait till I have a completed after picture.  It a redo/makedo I've been working on, can't wait to get it done and moved in the house.

Last night at 10 o'clock it was still 70 degrees, I sat out on the porch and listened to the peepers sing....like Heaven on Earth...

First sales of the season....

It's here, Garage Sale Season officially started for me yesterday! 

We had to go to my hubby's sister's place yesterday to pick up a hand me down desk for Maygan, it's a cute piece from the 40's that has been in the family for a long time.  Well, it just so happened it was yard sale days on that road.  Don't you love it when a plan comes together!

I didn't find much, but what I found was dirt cheap.  I got 3 old Bobbins for 25 cents each.  Two baskets for a nickel each, a couple of books for me and two for Maygan, quarter each...

The picture above shows my goodies, see the black basket with the lovely zebra bow, well, I looked past that and envisioned this.........

Bows & handle removed.........doesn't it look like a tobacco basket?  I still have to get rid of the gloss black paint, either by sanding it or maybe I'll borrow hubby's sandblasting cabinet.  I would like a natural, stained look.  Hope it works!

The rest of my day was spent outside, yes, outside!  Beautiful day here in PA, got the deck cleaned off and semi set-up for the warmer months.  And, I got my hands REAL dirty playing in my gardens, boy, did that feel good.

They are saying temps near 70 today but cloudy.  I'll take it!  Plan on grilling for supper today, marinated chicken and foil potatoes...

~Up High on a Mountaintop~

I thought it would be fun to welcome you all to my Mountain, I am not exactly sure of the elevation, but it's up there.... I had to take Maygan to school this morning, so I took the camera along.

This is a Mountaintop View, you can see for miles and miles..

Now we are going to take a trip down the mountain road, it can be quite exhilarating in the winter, especially after lots of snow.  It's 4x4 country...

This is the sign that greets you on your decent...

STOP, yep, right in the middle of the road, look at the pretty view of our town below.  See the buses at the Elementary School...

Okay, we're at the bottom, made it down to the valley below.  This is the sign telling you what's up ahead. Anyone going up?

It's finally Friday, I am in much better spirits today.  Got up and off to an early start to a good day.  Many, many thanks to all who visited and commented on my last post.  I have read each and everyone of them, the emails too and it has helped me tremendously.  Sometimes the best advice comes from afar, someone on the outside looking in.  Those who have or have not been through similar situations, the advice opens us up to many different perspectives.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
