When I owned my Shop, I was also a florist. A friend's daughter was getting married on October 9th and they asked me to do the flowers. Here are the Bride and Attendents' bouquets.
In between the painting and flowers, hubby and I had our annual Fudge/Apple Fritter/Donut show on October 2nd & 3rd. This year I made 30 pounds of fudge, 50 pounds of Donut Dough and hubby went through 11 batches of Apple Fritter batter. We fry the donuts and fritters fresh at the festival, they are so yummy on a cool fall day.
And lastly, my little girl had her 8th Birthday on the 18th...
Now, if I can just get some inspiration to start crafting, I have a show coming up on November 20th and I don't have a thing ready. Not to mention, my website hasn't had a new listing in quite some time. I've really been in a slump lately....
I love the knotty pine and how your new paint lightens everything. Things really pop against it. Sounds like you have been plenty busy. The bouquets are gorgeous. The bride must have been very pleased. You have a trailer or booth you set up to fry on the spot? I love those mini-donuts they do--better than funnel cake! And when we do get pastries, it is always apple fritters.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by and commenting on my grungy job! I am dipping some of them again today. I bought some instant coffee to make the wax color richer. Hope it works!
