Love this little gathering on the shelf of my
stepback..so simple
We'll start at the top and work our way down, then I'll share some
close up peeky poos
And..you want to know a secret?
The reason I incorporate my "everyday stuff" in with Christmas,
because I don't have any place to store hide it all....LOL!
and, it's just what would have happened years and years ago.
Families didn't have but a few "special" holiday decorations... women used
what they had, added something special like fresh greens or fruit to make their everyday wares festive.
Top Shelf
(of the stepback that is, wink!)
gathering close-ups
hmmm, I guess there's only one lonely

Next shelf down
And the next
The Big Picture
I am so glad that I made my cupboard this summer, I had a blast decorating it at Halloween time
and now for Christmas..
Lots of warm browns in the old wooden goodes...
with pops of Red & Green
Thanks for stopping by today!

Hi Traci! Your cupboard looks terrific! It's amazing how similar we prim bloggers are! I have collected a lot of the same items as you! (cookie cutters, jars, rolling pin etc.) I bought the exact same little red lantern last summer at an Antique co-op. I have mine hanging on a sled.Waiting for tomorrows installment!

The Kid wants your stepback, hey? Well, she's gonna have to fight me for it!! Love, love, love, this....Sigh - I gotta take my lessons from you to heart - the finding a place for the "everyday" stuff to hide in order to put out the holiday is getting so challenging....but, with a small house, it always made me feel like it was bigger because I could have twice the stuff....but, the taking out and putting away is getting harder and harder....I truly love old kitchenware goods - and you have a wonderful collection. I especially love that sifter with the red stripes. How sweet - and festive!! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
