Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
(((I in my kerchief and Pa in his cap,)))
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.

Wonderful Traci, every day you reveal even more of your magical house and it is so beautiful! Love the old sled and skates on the stairs and your 'bedroom' tree with it's vintage treasures is lovely. Lucky you to have a homespun quilt made by your Mom, what a treasure indeed! And a mirror for your bed tray, great idea! Thanks so much for your posts, you are so generous to share your beautiful home with us! Deb
